All the Ugly and Wonderful Things

This month’s book club read was, to be blunt, uncomfortable. We did actually split into two groups this time because there were some of us who didn’t want to read the popular pick. After we read this one, however, we wondered if we had chosen wrong. A quick disclaimer, in order to fully give my review, there will be some spoilers in this book review. I believe they are necessary, especially if you are considering reading it. You should be properly warned. With that out of the way, let’s talk about All the Ugly and Wonderful Things.

My First Book

Oh my goodness. My friends, things are happening. I am blown away by how things are just falling into place. My first book is coming along and I may, or may not, have a publishing date! I know, I know. This was not one of the books on my June TBR. I’m working on those too, but this was an audiobook that I needed to finish because I had been lucky to get it so quickly after having to return it. But I promise, I am working through my June TBR. I’ve made some good progress through my first book already and I started it on Monday. But, we will talk about that one when I finish it. Today, let’s talk about The Women.

TBR Jar 2026 – June Picks

Can you believe we are at the halfway point of the year already? 2026 has been flying by. But here we are with another TBR Jar picks blog. I can’t believe it. And let me tell you, this was the hardest TBR Jar yet. I mean, picking the books for the prompts, other than the book club pick, was really hard because I have so many good choices. It was a process. And let me tell you, this is going to be an incredibly difficult month to get through with some of these books. But, let’s do a debrief and then talk about our 2026 June Picks.
