Good news – I finished another book. Bad news – It was not a part of the May TBR. This book was actually from, April, if memory serves me right. The book was an audiobook through the Libby App and I was running out of time, so I just had to quickly finish it. But hey, it’s another book done I’m happy about that. Spoiler, I will not be getting 3 books from my May TBR done before June first. But more on that later. Right now, let’s talk about this book: 1st to Die.

Finally! The warmer weather seems to have arrived and I am excited for it. Beach days, hiking, BBQs and bonfires! And reading out in the sun. Now, as you know, I am not someone who loves to read romance novels in the summer…or ever. But reading outside on the deck is great. Maybe I can get a hammock to lay in while I read. Well, I did it. I read a romance novel and completed it! This prompt from the TBR Jar did not defeat me. Another prompt is doing that. Before we dive into this review, please remember that I am not a romance reader. I do not enjoy romance novels, shows or movies. I can tolerate romance being a sub-plot but as the main plot, it just does not interest me. That being said, I think I still entered this with an open mind and gave it a fair rating.
