Can you believe we are at the halfway point of the year already? 2026 has been flying by. But here we are with another TBR Jar picks blog. I can’t believe it. And let me tell you, this was the hardest TBR Jar yet. I mean, picking the books for the prompts, other than the book club pick, was really hard because I have so many good choices. It was a process. And let me tell you, this is going to be an incredibly difficult month to get through with some of these books. But, let’s do a debrief and then talk about our 2026 June Picks.

Good news – I finished another book. Bad news – It was not a part of the May TBR. This book was actually from, April, if memory serves me right. The book was an audiobook through the Libby App and I was running out of time, so I just had to quickly finish it. But hey, it’s another book done I’m happy about that. Spoiler, I will not be getting 3 books from my May TBR done before June first. But more on that later. Right now, let’s talk about this book: 1st to Die.

Finally! The warmer weather seems to have arrived and I am excited for it. Beach days, hiking, BBQs and bonfires! And reading out in the sun. Now, as you know, I am not someone who loves to read romance novels in the summer…or ever. But reading outside on the deck is great. Maybe I can get a hammock to lay in while I read.
