Finding Health

Well, the weekend was jam packed, but I think it was also a success. The Christmas Market that was hosted at our hotel was popular, with a steady stream of people coming through. The tasting event went well as well, with lots of tasty things to try. The only down side – I got sick. It started Saturday evening and hit me hard on Sunday. Now, I am on a journey of finding health.

Rest

This is a no brainer. We all know that rest is the best healer. Sometimes we get sick because our bodies need us to just slow down. I’ve been taking plenty of naps, and just relaxing. Other ways of resting I’ve done are sitting in the hot tub, letting the water relax my aching muscles, and taking hot showers. The steam from both of those is helping my sinus headache.

Medication

I obviously have to take medicine to get better. DayQuill, robitussin, and vicks vaporub. I remember, when I was a kid, my mom would put vicks vaporub on the bottom of my feet before bed and then put socks on. So, I did that last night. It helped me get a decent sleep for sure. I’ve also been taking an immune system booster called Cold FX. I’ll try anything in my journey to finding health.

Finding Health the Natural Way

One of my coworkers is a huge natural path fan. She brought me a drink with honey and some oils in it to help me feel better. I’ll be honest, it does not taste the greatest, but if it helps me feel better, I’ll give it a shot. I have also been taking lots of vitamin c to help my immune system fight for my health. To help with my sore throat, I’ve been gargling salt water as well. There are many ways of finding health again, and I’ll do whatever it takes.

Finding Health Again

Well, let’s hope I can kick this soon. My friend won tickets to tomorrow’s Jets game, and I really want to go with her. Finding health is more than a Jets game. I can’t do my job properly if I’m not feeling well. My room needs a good clean, but if I’m not feeling well, I definitely do not want to be cleaning. I’m sorry that this blog is not my best work. It’s quite hard to focus with a sinus headache. I’m going to wrap this up and take another nap. Here’s hoping that Wednesday I can blog about the Jets game. Anything can happen, if I try.
