I recently celebrated my birthday. To celebrate, my husband and I went back to the Destination Dinner Stage to see their latest show: The Beatles Forever – Can’t Buy Me Love. Let me share my honest review of the food, the show and the service and my star rating. And, this blog will contain a little something special too. Let’s dive in.
DDS The Beatles Forever Menu

As always, we had a 3 course meal to enjoy along with the show. To start off we had a Strawberry Fields Forever salad. Next we had our choice of entree. There were vegetarian, beef, chicken and fish options. My husband went with the Let it Beef and I had the Blackbird Chicken. He rated his meal an 8 out of 10. I rated mine a 6 at first, but now that I think more about it, I’ll give mine a 7 out of 10. We both found the vegetables to be very one note, and some of mine didn’t seem to be cooked all the way. Everything else was delicious though. Dessert was All You Need is Fudge cheesecake. I give the menu an 8.5 out of 10.
DDS The Beatles Forever Service

Our server was very friendly. If memory serves me right her name was Sandra….I think. I really need to start writing these things down. The customer service was fantastic. Everyone was friendly and attentive. The food was delivered quickly and the dishes cleared regularly so that our table wasn’t cluttered. The only hiccup was that our drinks situation wasn’t as good as it was at previous shows. We got our drinks, but we weren’t checked on as regularly. I do have grace as I know she had some tables that were much bigger than ours to attend to, and she did check on us to make sure everything was alright. So, I’ll give service a 9 out of 10.
DDS The Beatles Forever Show

Now, let me start by saying I am not a Beatles fan. I have never really listened to their music, or desired to. Not saying I haven’t listened to their music. Everyone has heard the song Yellow Submarine. But I didn’t really care for the songs. Part of the experience is being able to sing along with your favourite songs, and I didn’t get that. However, the show itself was still great and the actors walked around and interacted with guests during meal times. This made up for it and I still had a great time. The only other take away is when they were singing there would be videos on the two side screens of people freaking out and crying and screaming, like excited fans. I found this distracting as my focus went more to the screens than the performers themselves. So, for the show, I’ll give it a 7.5 out of 10.
Overall Rating and Final Thoughts
Overall I would give this show a 4 star rating. I may not be a Beatles fan, but I still enjoyed myself. If you’re a Beatles fan, I highly recommend going to see this show before it’s over. The show goes until July 12th and then they will get ready for their next show, which I’m excited about. It’s Dirty Dancing! But, for some exciting updates. I have been to almost every show and reviewed every one that I have been to. I’ve missed 1 since they opened. One of the staff there recognises me now by face and knows me by name. And apparently she’s been talking about me because as soon as I mentioned I have a blog, the girl who took our picture looked at me and was like “I know you!” I thought that was amazing.
But That’s Not All
I got to meet the manager who runs everything and he said he’s heard a lot about me as well and is interested in reading my blogs AND there might be an exciting opportunity coming up for me. You guys, I literally left the theatre with a look that was a mix of shock and pure elation. I think big things will be coming to the blog and I tell you, I am over the moon excited to see what the rest of this year has in store for me, for the blog, and my other endeavours. I cannot wait for things to start falling into place. So, follow along on this crazy journey and let’s see what happens in Life With Stephanie! Anything is possible if we try.
