Let’s Chat

So, I have to admit, I had no idea what to write about today, so I figured I would just chat with you all. Today, I’m just going to chat with you, share how things are going, be fully honest and I’ll ask you all some questions, which I hope you’ll answer in the comments below. Now, let’s chat.

A quick apology:

First, I need to apologise for not being consistent with my blogs lately. Here I go and share how much I want to make this my full time career and then I go and disappear on you for almost a week. Last week did get really busy for me with the hotel, but I can’t use that as an excuse. I just lacked the motivation to write anything.

Lately, I have found myself wanting the end result more and more and the longer that I go without reaching that goal, the more down about it I get. I know what you’re all thinking. “Steph, you just started. It takes time.” And I know this in my head, but I still feel discouraged.

Now the update:

Now, you’re probably wondering what I’ve been up to lately. Well, I’m “attempting” the Blogilates 28 day reset. This is supposed to be partnered with Blogilates workouts. I won’t go into too much detail about this, as that will be another blog. A few days ago I completed a 30 day challenge through Arbonne. My cousin is a consultant and I wanted to support her. I didn’t fully complete certain aspects of the challenge. There was a kit that I ordered and I did use some of it. The part of the challenge I did complete was 30 days of squats and shots.

No, I don’t mean alcoholic shots, but health shots. Each shot contained greens, something for gut health and mind health. I also added prebiotics, when I remembered. For accountability purposes, I filmed myself doing the shots and squats and posted the video to my stories. There were so many days I didn’t want to, but I knew she was waiting for the post, so I had to. Some days I only managed to squeeze them in right before bed.

Challenge Review:

As I said earlier, I did not do all aspects of the challenge. Part of the challenge was to start each day with an energy fizz. I started my days with a cup of tea. The challenge was to choose and follow a diet for the whole 30 days. Because I started the challenge after I had started my February plan and the challenge went past February into March, I did have to switch. And let’s be real, we know I didn’t stick to a plan.

Due to me not doing the challenge the right way, I cannot give an honest review of the challenge. What I can do is give a review of what I used, and I have to say, I really enjoyed it. There is a protein powder that I got and it’s coffee flavoured. When I say that it’s amazing, I mean, it’s amazing. Did it give me abs? No. If you all find a protein powder that gives you abs without you doing any work, let me know and I’ll tell you to run away from it.

What’s next?

For the rest of the month I am going to keep trying to follow the reset and do the workouts for the month. I don’t know about you, but I’m tired of updating my fitness journey as, “Well, I tried and failed again.” The next thing I want to work on is being more consistent with my blogs and posting on social media. I’ve mentioned before that I want to start a YouTube channel. That won’t be very successful if I don’t have a following already.

There is something in the works for April, but I won’t share that just yet. You’ll just have to keep following along in my blogs and on social media. Just so you all are aware, I do plan on putting some things on social media that won’t be shared in my blogs until it has passed. Like what? I am playing with the idea of putting together a little prize pack for one lucky follower, and that draw will only happen on social media.

Let’s chat:

Now I want you to participate in the conversation. How are you doing? Are you on a health and fitness journey? What do you think of the idea of doing a draw for a prize pack? And finally, what kind of blogs should I do next? Are there certain blog styles that you have enjoyed more than the others? Let me know. Follow me on social media (links below) so that you never miss a new blog post, or anything else exciting that I do with this site. You can also subscribe on the main page for email updates.

I hope you have a great day, and I hope you comment below. I want to know how things are going and not just make everything about me. You guys are the best. And remember, anything can happen if you try. https://www.facebook.com/life.with.stephanie.2023/

  1. Nice to see you back on the blog after your busy work week 🙂
I’m not personally invested in the fitness aspect of a healthier lifestyle. (although I probably should… maybe keeping up with your blogs will be the inspiration I need to do that!)
But I do enjoy good, wholesome food. I’ve had a huge mindset shift over the last few years and am now able to see food in a much healthier way. I would love to see more blogs on your monthly diets, what you liked or didn’t like about it and if it made any difference in the way you feel, and if there are specific health reasons people might choose to follow that particular diet! 🙂

    1. Thank Tifanie. There will definitely be more of those coming each month, so keep your eyes peeled. Maybe this will be the motivation I need to actually stick to one 😛
