Arbonne – Why I Started

As some of you know, I recently became an Arbonne consultant. With so many different multi level marketing, or MLM, home businesses out there you might be asking some questions. Why would I start? What made me choose Arbonne? Why even try when there is so much negativity around MLMs? In this blog I will answer all those questions, so follow along and let’s talk about it.

What is Arbonne?

Arbonne is a home based business that sells nutrition, skin care, and makeup products. All products are vegan, and cruelty free. They have all been tested to make sure that you’re getting the best products. Consultants of Arbonne build teams and sell products to family, friends, and strangers alike. Most consultants will use social media platforms for advertising, as well as find people to host parties, with the host getting special rewards for hosting.

The Negativity Around MLMs

A business where I can work from home, make my own hours, and all I need is friends and family and social media to start? What’s the catch? Unfortunately, there is a lot of negativity towards MLMs. Friends and family do not always want to be bothered to host parties, join teams or buy products. Some consultants will reach out to people they haven’t talked to in years just to sell products. Many people say that there is no way you can make any money this way, so for that reason they won’t support a family member or friend who is trying.

Is There a Positive Side?

Clearly there are people who are making money from MLMs. If no one was making money, no one would be promoting the company they represent. When you find people who are passionate about the same things as you, you can build a strong community that way and develop strong friendships. For those who make money, no matter how much or how little, it helps pay bills, pay off debt, and grow the savings account.

My Reason For Starting

Now let me explain why I became a consultant. A short while back I did a 30 day challenge with my cousin. To do the challenge I had to purchase package called 30 Days to Healthy Living. It contained protein powders, energy fizz, and products for gut and mind health, as well as a daily dose of greens. After the 30 days were done, I realised that I enjoyed the products. (Coffee flavoured protein powder is my new favourite.) The energy fizz was a great boost of energy in the middle of the day, without the crash that you get from high sugar drinks or caffeine. The green drink I made which contained gut health and mind health, as well as my daily dose of greens may have looked disgusting, but it tasted good and my stomach was happy with the health it was getting.

So, with that in mind, and knowing that I couldn’t afford to buy products all the time, I decided to become a consultant. Consultants get a bigger discount than clients, and I have the chance to make a little money on the side as well. With prices the way they are right now, a little extra cash won’t hurt at all. But I thought your blogs were going to bring in money? They will, but that will take time. I have to build my following first. And before you ask, yes, it is the same with Arbonne and building a customer base and team. The difference? I can use Arbonne to grow my blogs and vice versa.

You lost me.

Let me explain. As I try different Arbonne products, I can write blogs where I review them. This gives me more content to write about. With each blog, I can attach my affiliate link so that if my readers want to try the products and support me, they have a direct link. Neither of these are going to be easy money making schemes. They’ll be tricky, will take lots of time and energy and hard work. I’m just going on a journey, and I’m inviting you to come along.

Let’s Wrap It Up

So, in summary, I am on a journey to see where life brings me. I’m going to write blogs about my fitness journey, reviews of Arbonne products, and whatever else may come. If I go on any trips, I’ll blog about those to get a feel for writing travel blogs. Some of you may remember that my dream is to be a travel blogger. I’ll do whatever I need to in order to reach that dream. Arbonne, for now, is a one year experiment. If I make money, awesome. Even if I don’t, I get to enjoy some great products with a great discount. Either way, I win. If you want to give these products a try, my link will be below. Thank you again for all your support with my blogs. Till the next one, remember, anything can happen if you try.
